Students with disabilities, their families, and staff face unique challenges during this time of social distancing and distance learning. We know everyone is different. For some, distance learning has been a positive experience, for others, it has been more difficult. Whatever your experience and concerns, it is important to let leadership know your perspective so that the unique needs of students with disabilities and special education staff are considered when planning for the return to school in August.
Below you will find FCPS’s timeline for the Return to School decision process. We have included pertinent FCPS links as well as links to the Virginia Return to School Plan documents. You will also find links and information about how to tune-in (both online and on TV) to the FCPS School Board Work Sessions, meetings, and the Public Hearing. We hope this information will help you as you advocate for your family’s needs.
